It just warms my heart to capture the essence of someone’s fur-baby. Calvin was a rescue that found his forever home. Calvin is starting to show his age, how I wish we could have them with us for so much longer than they bless our lives with. Thank you, Michelle for asking me to paint Calvin for you and Phillip.

Calvin was done using traditional watercolors on archival Arches 300lb cold press 12″ X 16″ watercolor paper.

Jan Hackett from Port Clinton did this beautiful charcoal rendering of Kiki. It’s gorgeous and she did a fantastic job. It looks exactly like her. I gave it to Jim, my husband  as a gift because he loved her as much as I did and we want to be able to look at her and smile and be grateful for the happy memories for over 10 years that we had with her. I don’t know if I will ever get over losing her.
