Another in my series of “People of War”. My reference photo is by C. M. Sturgeon on Pixabay. This piece has the techniques from Carne Griffiths Artist course. I’m having so much fun incorporating Carne’s style into mine.
I’ll be donating a portion of the sale of my original pieces from “The People of War” series and a portion of the proceeds of any prints of “The People of War” series. My donation will be given to UNICEF: Children in Crossfire of Ukraine Crisis.
This is a mixed media piece where I used graphite, fountain pen inks, tea, imitation gold leaf on the instrument and white colored pencil for a few highlights. This is done on 11 X 14 Arches CP 140 lb water paper. Gold leaf is only on the original painting.
