“People of War”
Man with Haunting Eyes
The fourth in my series “People of War” named “Man with Haunting Eyes”. I haven’t added this one to my site yet, coming soon as I just finished it and you all are the first to see it. When I saw the reference photo on Pixabay of this Ukrainian man his eyes were haunting. I think I was successful in capturing his emotions.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of my original painting and prints will be donated to UNICEF for the children of the war. I hope you like this one as much as the other three.
Another in my series of “People of War”. My reference photo is by C. M. Sturgeon on Pixabay. This piece has the techniques from Carne Griffiths Artist
course. I’m having so much fun incorporating Carne’s style into mine.
I’ll be donating a portion of the sale of my original pieces from “The People of War” series and a portion of the proceeds of any prints of “The People of War” series. My donation will be given to UNICEF: Children in Crossfire of Ukraine Crisis.
This is a mixed media piece where I used graphite, fountain pen inks, tea, Brusho and white colored pencil for his eye brows. This is done on 11 X 14 Arches CP 140 lb water paper.
NOTE: Original does NOT include the JLHackett watermark seen in this image! Colors may vary for what you are seeing on your monitor.
